“Radio Communication System in Golesh and ASHNA” finalized

The Air Navigation Services Agency of Kosovo is pleased to announce that the project “Radio Communication System in Golesh and ASHNA” has been successfully finalized. This project is supported by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, within the project “Extending the runway, setting up the instrumental landing system and radio communication systems at Pristina Adem Jashari International Airport” and means the installation and commissioning of new systems and advanced ground-to-air radio communication from the JOTRON company, the voice communication recording system, as well as the voice communication switching system from the SITTI company. Being a very important and complex project for air navigation services, ASHNA has paid special attention and dedication in all phases of development, also meeting applicable local and international standards and regulations in this field. For ASHNA and the airspace users of the Republic of Kosovo, these new systems will increase the safety and quality of air navigation services. Very soon we expect the finalization of other capital projects, which will raise ASHNA and Kosovo to an even more advanced and competitive level in the field of civil aviation. On this occasion, we express special thanks to cooperating partners such as the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Prishtina International Airport – Adem Jashari, our staff, as well as all other parties contributing to the project. ASHNA remains committed to achieving its mission of providing safe air navigation services to all airspace users of the Republic of Kosovo.
